Setup

Each player tucks a tag into the back of their belt. Mark the edges of the mat.

Penalties

How to play

  1. On “Go!”, everyone tries to steal tails while protecting their own.
  2. Lose your tail? Do at the edge, then rejoin without one.
  3. Players without a tail can still steal, and wear the first one they win.
  4. After two minutes, the player holding the most tails wins.

Easier

Two thieves only; everyone else guards.

Harder

Guard with a block only: hands may not cover your tail.

Safety: Tags only. No grabbing belts, doboks or hair.

Coaching tips

  • Keep low in fighting stance to turn quickly.
  • Smaller areas make faster games.
